Colours of Autumn

What with issues with my hands and a certain festival coming up, I am not sure how much finished crafting I will have to show you for a while but in the meantime I thought you might like a little peek at some local photographs.

This was taken a few weeks ago. It is not the only fungus growing on a tree on Southampton Common but I am not sure I have ever seen one this colour: so very Autumnal.

Sticking with the orange theme: here are two non standard pumpkins, I saw on the way to the shops.

On the common itself this is probably one of the most colourful trees.

Now a couple of less colourful photographs taken at the edge of what is known as the Boating Lake.
