In the past I made these –
and these.
and I decided that I would like to make another pair.
I chose some material.
Here you can see from some of the material left over (They must have given me another 30cm than what I asked for!) that there are lots of parrots. So here I am wearing them. and, because it’s hard to photograph the back when they are on, here is the back.
I am not especially happy with the making. I am sure I should have done better but I do dressmaking so rarely. I tried to follow the pattern method correctly this time as to which seams to sew first, only to realise that the way I made the second pair with the happy faces was actually better. I probably copied some commercially made trousers.
However I am sure they will look fine in use. So easy to make really, no zips, but they do have pockets which is one of the reasons I like to make them.
The other reason is to have something that is fun!
Fabulous prints! They look super comfy as well.

I like fun trousers but thought these would be a bit more elegant than the happy face ones.

Great fun! Wonderful prints.
Just the sort of trousers I like – roomy, comfortable with pockets – I haven’t got any as cheerful as those though.

Fabric Land have lots of interesting fabrics. Shop trousers are often boring with no pockets. I tend to go for plain tops and patterned lower half.
