I seem to be having a bit of difficulty getting up much enthusiasm for blogs and crafting lately but, needing something to take to Crafty Coffee on Friday, I decided to try out an idea I had for another bookmark.
This was to use my triquetra coaster pattern in #10 cotton.
I like the red and white coaster best. So I decided to use that colour combination. Though I think the ‘white’ may have been cream.
The tail would have been longer but I ran out of red cotton. And a bit closer.
Stiffened with spray starch as usual. The book is my present read, opened at random – “Pandora’s Boy” by Lindsey Davis
And because I can, just a couple of pictures of the primroses in my garden! A closer look.
I think there might have been more if my flowerbed had not been overrun with self-seeded wallflowers.
I like the Red and White one best as well – it makes a great bookmark.
Ah, primroses – they tell of Spring! If only those March winds would calm down a bit.

Yes the wind has been dreadful here. Still it means the washing will be dry sooner!
