I couldn’t get too excited about the topic ‘waste’ and didn’t want to photograph my rubbish but then looking at the little pile of ends on my work table in the sitting room gave me an idea.
This is something I have shown before but is something made from these waste ends that I am still collecting to make something even bigger. And this is the one my granddaughter made.
She insisted that the strands had to line up!!
Perfect! I do love those bowls. I’m making one out of teabags at the moment (!) and of course it is very brown – you have given me and idea – I could cheer it up with come yarn waste!!!! Thanks!

Great idea! 😍 Both bowls are fabulous! I will collect my yarn ends from now on 😊

You just soak the ends in half white PVA glue and half water mixed and spread them over something to get the shape; a bit like papier mache.

Thought I’d say ‘just in case’ Didn’t want to teach my grandmother to suck eggs of course. 🙂

I expect you saw it before but it is still going strong. Not that I use if for anything except ornamentation!

Oooh, what an exciting way to use the ends I cut off my crochet. Think I may save mine like Tina said. Thank you for the inspiration 😃
