Photo Challenge – Native

I suppose it shows my age that the first image that came to mind when I read the word ‘native’ was of someone with browner skin than myself and wearing less clothes.

What my Concise Oxford Dictionary (that is almost as old as me) means by “Born in a place (esp. of non-Europeans)”

However the meaning of native is wider than that and is about something naturally belonging to that environment. So I found this photograph that I took last Autumn. Definitely ‘native’ to this country. Photo Challenge1624 - native
