Photo Challenge – Headgear

Bit hard to decide with this one. Headgear only means ‘hat’ (or ‘hats’ since it is a self plural like sheep.) I have several knitted or crochet hats and some summer ones but a picture of just a hat seemed somehow a bit mundane, unless it was a very special looking hat, so I dug out this. Photo Challenge1623 - headgearIt is actually a photograph taken over twenty years ago with my film SLR. I cropped it just a bit to make it better.

Our favourite beach spot at the time (since Southampton although it is on the coast does not have beaches) was at a place between Lymington and Bournemouth called Highcliffe. In those days there was this little sheltered spot in the bushes which we liked to occupy when we went there. This was my eldest’s hat.
