Bit hard to decide with this one. Headgear only means ‘hat’ (or ‘hats’ since it is a self plural like sheep.) I have several knitted or crochet hats and some summer ones but a picture of just a hat seemed somehow a bit mundane, unless it was a very special looking hat, so I dug out this. It is actually a photograph taken over twenty years ago with my film SLR. I cropped it just a bit to make it better.
Our favourite beach spot at the time (since Southampton although it is on the coast does not have beaches) was at a place between Lymington and Bournemouth called Highcliffe. In those days there was this little sheltered spot in the bushes which we liked to occupy when we went there. This was my eldest’s hat.
Great headwear, and a great sentimental memory. Lovely photograph, indeed.

The picture does have a nostalgic, vintage feel to it – delightful. It looks like a painting.

Yes, it was one of my ‘arty’ photographs.

Love that picture, and having stayed near where you took that picture two years ago I love that you had a special nook.

There didn’t seem to be any last time I went. It looked like the bushes had expanded.
